On behalf of the fund raisers can I firstly thank YOU for your support at our latest event. The soup and sandwich lunch which was a popular and successful event. We raised £1421.00 a great way to celebrate our new hall The wee shop had a lovely display of potential Christmas gifts, Ishbel had her hand made cards, Senga must have been knitting all year to have such a fabulous display, Harvey had the job of selling the “alternative Christmas Crackers, and a great job he did of it too!
The cake bakers, jam makers, scones and tablets producers, the mince pies from Ellen Hamilton and Lorna Croucher all were appreciated, displayed by Anne Donald sold out in no time at all.
I must make mention of Margaret Jackson who rolled up her sleeves and kept washing the dishes as on a conveyor belt, whilst keeping her eye on the urn, and topping up the tea!
A special thanks also to Morag Smith “I can only come for a wee while” and stayed all day
Kirsty Helms, who put her hand to sandwich maker, waitress and any other job asked of her always smiling!
Can’t miss out Randolph who welcomed everyone at the door.
The fund raising committee is REALLY grateful.
