Kirn & Sandbank Church

Our Church

Kirn Parish Church first opened its doors in 1907. For more details of the origins and development of the Church see our history page. The Church supports a number of associated organisations or groups. For more details visit our Groups page.

We have now joined with Sandbank Church to provide the combined charge of Kirn and Sandbank Church.

Our Joint Church has a roll of approximately 350 with an average attendance of approximately 70 – 100 every Sunday, tea and coffee is served in the church after the service in our newly renovated Church Centre, when there is a chance to meet and catch up with each other rather than rushing out the door.

Details of the Church Services can be found in the link on the right of this page. For full details of all Church Events please see our our Calendar page.

Sunday morning worship is open to members and visitors. Children are valued as an important part of our congregation with family services being held on the last Sunday of each month and on special Sundays such as around Christmas and Easter. On other Sundays we enjoy the children being with us for part of the service before or after their own activities in the ‘Sunday Club’.

Children are also present with us when we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

We are enthusiastic singers, encouraged on the musical side by our organist and choir!

After the service there is an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with others from the congregation over a cup of tea, coffee or juice now using our new church hall recently converted from the north aisle of the church.

Special activities take place for fellowship, fund-raising and community outreach such as coffee mornings, ceilidhs, walks and united services with neighbouring congregations.

You are warmly invited to join us at any of our services and activities.
